Trio run through the rain

The rain didn't stop these runners.
A weekend of what seemed like constent rain fail to deter the enthusiasm of three member of Wellington Running Club from taking part in races
Ayshea Carpenter took part in Dorchester 10k. Surprising hilly in places but such a great event. Ayshea pushed hard to get a finish time of 1:09.
Closer to home Sophie Ellen ran the Exeter half marathon, also now know as the great west run. Sophie join the thousands that took to the streets in the well supported race. Considering some absence from running over the last few months a finish time of 2:07 was a phenomenal.
Chris Poole travelled to Wiltshire to run "The race with no witry name" - a thirty three mile trail race. Many runners did not even turn up to the start line with rightly predicated torrential rain all day. Chris does tend to like a challenge and completed in fine spirts in a little over seven hours we think.
